HOLLAAAA PEOPLE! It's been quite awhile since I last blogged, was really busy with university assignments...YEA RIGHT -.-

So, long story short, was really inspired to DIY this pair of shoes after watching http://voussontbeauetbelle.blogspot.com/'s haul video, it's this pair of gorgeous vectra3 studded slippers from topshop!

Gorgeous. Honestly I wasn't really happy/impressed with what I did this time, it doesn't look like a proper loafers and I ran out of studs, hence the awkward flap and studs orientation. #failed But it's my first DIY in Manchester, so I was quite happy that I spent sometime doing something I'm passionate about :)

So I got the plain black shoes from Primark for £3, and studs from Ebay for £1.65, so this pair of thingy only cost me £4.65 :)

So, I cut away the strip flaps on the site so it looks more like loafers, but the whole thing still look pretty weird, please forgive me for screwing up this DIY project , I have no idea where to get cheap plain black loafers in this country ><

New room in Manchester

So I've reached Manchester and currently staying at Cosmopolitan , it's a private hall , that's why some of you may not be familiar with it . Weekly rent is £105 and that is the reason why I'm not switching off any lights or heater or whatever that's gonna use tons of electricity , I'm such a pain in the ass I know :)

Here's how the shared kitchen looks like . Pretty amazing :) Love it , it's spacious and clean . You don't even need to get your own microwave or kettle and you can even bake a cake if you want :) Planning to bake some cupcakes next week with my flatmates <3

and oh ya , my cheena rice cooker :) Asians , can't live without rice yo .

So this is my desk , pretty big and they have 4 plug points at the end of the table , talk about convenience <3

And here's my bed , got the duvet & duvet cover set & pillows at Argos for £18.47 . Pretty cheap I guess (?) So if you don't have enough space for it , just leave it , bring something more important here . But the thing is you have to get them once you reach your place because you don't want to end up like me .. sleeping on a traveller's pillow and 2 trousers -.-

The only bad thing about this room is the wardrobe is a little bit too small for a girl .

The Bathroom . I thought it was pretty small at first but it's actually more than enough for me so yeah . I just wish they have 2 hangers instead of 1 , I have two towels ! one for my hair and one for the body :(

Clear Restaurant & Bistro @ Plaza Mont Kiara

Had a wonderful lunch with Mama tran , okay I’m not quite sure what reviews others gave but I can tell you that I’m an easily satisfied person , and I totally love this restaurant , It’s cheap and nice ! They offer set lunch for only Rm16.90++ ( 3 course meal ) and comes with a glass of Ice lemon tea . Ambience was quite okay but it’s a little bit hot if you choose to sit outside .

Ice lemon tea on the left and Curry Samosa with Thai sauce as the starter . It tastes like a curry puff just that it’s in triangular shape and the thai sauce is amazing .

Next up is my main course , beef bacon linguine in tomato sauce , it wasn’t like OMG AMAZINGLY nice but for the price I paid it’s was pretty good :)

Mumsy’s Pan seared chicken breast with mash potatoes and vegetables .

And woila ! Ice cream <3

I had the most wonderful day with the boy , well to be precise , everyday is perfect when he's around :) He got me a super cute necklace & handmade flowers which was a super brilliant idea and I really appreciate it . I don't like receiving real flowers as it will wilt and in about 3 days time I have to throw it away , what a waste of money . But not this time anymore , I can keep it as long as I want :)

Finally went to Levain with the bunch :)

Eleng ordered a few things from the menu and picked up some awesome pastries and we all shared it , the bill came up to be RM66+ and it’s about RM13 per pax , super worth it <3

I don’t know what’s the name for this , but it’s GOOD . Like G.O.O.D . Chocolate mousse and strawberry can never go wrong .

Mushroom soup ( RM6.90+) . Soup was extremely thick and creamy :) Will try their tomato soup next time , heard it’s as good as any other soup served there .

Spaghetti Bolognaise ( RM9.90+)

Pesto Tuna Pasta ( Rm9.90+) My favourite will definitely be this , very special :)

Overall a very nice place for lunch/tea time , surely a wide range of bread to choose from :)

BALI – day one

So much for being non-malaysian . Look at that crowd , you don’t even know how panic I was , alone in a foreign country is B.A.D . Just so you know , I always do the ‘ you-don’t-mess-with-me-or-else-I’ll-chop-off-your-ahem-face’ when I’m alone , my brother called it fucked up shit face :) GAHHH I must learn not to be antisocial :(

Stayed at J-Boutique Hotel . I personally like this hotel a lot . It’s about 5 minutes ride from the airport . And the best part is it’s only waking distance from this hotel to Kuta Beach and Hard Rock cafe . Well of coz you can take the taxi , it won’t cost you much , about 5 bucks maybe ?

The shuttle service from the hotel . Awesomeness . The driver have been waiting for us for more than an hour , why ? refer back to picture no.5 , but he still smile and greet us once he saw us :) such a nice guy :)

Streets near Kuta Beach , Well you can see a lot of Caucasians there , mainly because Hard rock Hotel is there :P Kuta Beach is well known for surfing :D

Settle down for dinner , the moment I’ve been waiting for so long until my neck can literally fall off :D This is like the cheapest restaurant I’ve been to in Bali . You’ll know why later on :D

Went to Pavilion with the bunch :) Pavilion has awesome decorations I must say LOVE IT <3

Finally the holiday is here and I have no plans but to watch Vampire Diaries and The Big Bang Theory until college starts . And now , I’ve got nothing to do . like literally nothing . PPS failed on me , I don’t know what happened but the column for Caucasian series is officially gone . Run to my brother’s room to see whether he’s pps is working , but I’m always the unfortunate one :P I’m on season 1 episode 15 . GARRRRRRRRR :(

Went to Lakeside with boyfie and his friend (Y) Really like Backofen , like their interior design and all the pastries they served . Went there all the way to have Chocolate fudge * my current favourite cake* but seems like they don’t serve that in this branch :( Boyfie was a friend of the boss , he’s really cute and funny *liked* .

Not really recommended for those who have oily skin because this is a oil-based product , it may as well as break you out . In the need of dessert <3 How nice if my body has this “Alarm system” , when any other unfamiliar substance come in or even overdue of fats/sugar coming it it will give me a signal *tit tit tit * and I will know when to stop taking in so much of food . I just can’t see myself got fat until my friend went : “ ZOMG Yasmine waliao why your face so round / weih you look very huge / wah you really been eating a lot huh !” You know there’s this kind of people that no matter how much they eat , they still look , not look , they are THIN . 酱子我的心里很不平衡 :( I’ll go into depressed mode and wonder why my body isn’t built that way , why I can only order 1 roti planta when I want to eat 3 . Lovely Saturday w/ DIY project denim bow

Hello my loveliness :) Time for some DIY session :) Got my idea from VIVI magazine . Let’s make this Denim Hairbow !

What you need :

1) An old pair of jeans

2) Scissors

3) Needle and Thread

4) Bobby Pin

First , cut one two pieces of strips from your old/unwanted jeans .

The width of the first stripe should be bigger than your second strip :) For my case the first strip is about 9 cm , second will be 6.5 cm .

Then , gather the middle part , sew it . Do the same thing to the second strip :)

Last , gather both of them together and add a small strip to cover up the stitches in the middle and you are DONE ! :D

Note : You can sew the bottom part of the cloth to achieve a neater look/effect , but I’m kinda lazy so yea :)

Clip on the bobby pin and you can put it anywhere you want :) On your skirt , shirt , wherever you want :)

Random 2.1 Korek-ed a old photo taken by me last year , can still vividly remember I purposely spend 3 bucks to get a brand new box of colour pencils XD Noticed the canon logo there ? I don’t even need to photoshop it , it’s a stamp in Photoscape , how cool is that !

It was located at the main entrance at Sunway Pyramid :)

There were so many people sign up for this makeover , I suggest all you loveliness outside there , if you planned to go for the next session , go earlier :) so you can have a nice makeup all day long :)

D.I.Y Corsage stretch bracelet

So sorry that I’ve been posting up a lot of reviews and adverts , finally I’m back to the DIY mode , thought I can get to do more DIYs during my sem break but instead I’m going out everyday :( Buzyyyyyyy .

I’m doing the inspired one :) eheheh DIY rawks . It will cost you about 50 bucks I guess ? It’s 10 pounds my godness , for a simple bracelet , well a pretty one but hey , guess what , you can DO IT YOURSELF with less than 10 bucks . Yes . < RM10 .

But first , you will need a piece of light weighted fabric , a pearl bracelet * I got mine at Cotton On , for RM5 * , some decorations , needles and threads :) We gonna start by doing the fabric flower as that’s the only thing we gonna put a little more effort in , other than that it’s just piece of cake :)

Next , cut your fabric into a number of circles :)

Next , fold your circle into half .

Fold it again and you will find yourself holding a cone-shaped like thingy .

Gather an amount of folded fabric and sew through it to secure :)

TADDDAAAA HERE YOU GO , A FABRIC FLOWER :) isn’t it easy ? Furthermore you can get the fabric for RM2 per meter at Kamdar :) Now you have the flower , you can just hot glue a pin on the back , clip it on your hair , or even add a elastic band and transform it into headband !

Last , add sugar and spice and everything nice :)

Sorry that I don’t have much picture of it as I left it at Ipoh , kanasai I know :( Sorryy , will see when I will be back there and I’ll post more pictures of it :) But I hope you all enjoy the tutorial :) Anything that you’re not sure with , you can definitely ask me :)

Hellooooo my lovely readers , I did a small survey few days ago and I found out that most of you guys prefer me to blog about DIY and food *within KL* and now , I’m hereby to bring you to this new restaurant located at Damansara Perdana .

I like the whole ambience and the interior design of this restaurant as it’s nicely sectioned , they have a corner for fine dine , a corner that you can chill with beloved friends with your choice of cocktail or beer , a corner for the hardcore football fans , a corner to play pool , how wonderful isn't it ?

So , lets start with the food shall we :P

Left : Wild Mushroom Soup RM16

Original six wild mushroom served in a bread soup bowl and long garlic bread . Not half bad , but I think the price is tad exxy for this dish :)

Right : Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken (add on) RM17

Romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing , minced chicken and pecorino cheese basket . Grilled chicken was too dry but the salad part was superb ! If you order just Caesar salad , it will be RM12 but you can add on crispy calamari , grilled chicken , smoked salmon , tempura prawns , chicken meat loaf , chicken pepperoni , and beef salami .

Caesar Salad with Smoked Salmon (add on) RM17

I personally like this dish as I’m very picky when it comes to salad but this one I personally give thumbs up :) I like their dressing as it taste different from other dressing , way different from the same old boring thousand island :)

Left : Spaghetti Aglio-olio with the choice of seafood pesto RM16

I didn’t really get to try this dish but according to Waiyan , the pasta was tad overcooked but look at the amount of mussels and prawns they put in :) Mussels is love . For Pesto lovers , this may worth a try :)

Right : Beef Bolognaise Tortellini RM16

Nothing really much about this dish but this is actually the first time I tried green tortellini !

Left : New Zealand Lamb Shank RM27

slow braised lamb shank with Asian spices , red pesto and stewed capsicums served with shallot sauce . Well the dish was good but the lamb is still bit dry for my liking :)

Right : New Zealand Lamb Chopped RM27

served with french fries , daily vegetables and orange mint sauce . Not half bad as the part they served us wasn’t that fat . Just alright , I know a lot of girls out there don’t like to take fat meat , LOL , I’m a boy I guess :) Chewy is nice .

Left : Norwegian Salmon RM27

Pan seared accompanied by cold baby potato mayo and sweet basil served with smoked barbeque sauce . One word , NICE . I like how they put the cold baby potato and cooked salmon together , like hot and cold XD The salmon was soft and kinda melts in your mouth and I remember this is when Feeq said I look cute in pictures but very scary when I eat LOL imagine how I look when I’m eating this dish XD

Right : Grilled Sirloin Steak RM27

Served with french fries , sautéed vegetables and raisin cumin black pepper sauce . Well this is the first time I tried Steak with raisin sauce , it’s a bit sweet but it’s quite special to me :)

Deep Fried Tortilla RM12

With Tomato salsa and Mozzarella cheese . Noms nomssss ! Look how much Mozzarella cheese they put it ! MAX LOVE :)

Left : Cheese Lamb and dates croquettes RM16

Served with de pollo dip . Nice ! Notice how thy wrapped the cheese with minced mutton and those cheese they just melts in your mouth :)

Right : Apple and Mango Salad RM7

Tossed with wasabi aioli dressing and on a bed of mesclum salad . Such a unique dish , I was surprise that the dressing and the mango match that well . I had a bite and I ran off to toilet and when I got back it’s gone !! :(

Left : Fan Mango Fruit RM7

Served with vanilla icecream and pistachio nuts :) Mango was a bit sour and that’s the reason why the vanilla ice cream tagged along :)

Right : Strawberry Romanoff RM12

Tossed strawberry fruit with freshly whipped cream , mint leaf and fruit sauce . I LOVE THIS ONE . I remembered our table was like SO NICE !!! STRAWBERRIES !! Strawberries was sweet and goes well with the sauce and whipped cream . I think I nomnom-ed half of this dish . Lucky me !

TADDDAAAAA I SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST :)))

Bread and Butter Pudding RM12

Homemade pudding with apricot glaze and top with vanilla ice cream . THIS IS A MUST TRY . You know how the warm pudding and the cold icecream and when you eat them together … OH HEAVENNNN . mouth orgasm ftw . MUST TRY !

Review :

Should I tell you guys the plot or should I not .. HMN , better don’t :P Figure it out yourself :) I’ll rate this movie 8.5/10 . I’m not actually very into Animations but Toy Story 3 totally wins my heart . I wasn’t expecting something this good . It started off by telling us that Andy ( Woody’s owner ) will be leaving for college soon , and he have to decide what to bring with him and what not , those that he didn’t bring along with him to college will be thrown away :( And the movie goes on with telling us what they had been though after that and they met some new characters , and not to mention KEN , Barbie’s boyfriend will be in the movie too ! You will find it very interesting to see many new characters will be in this movie :) I personally like the peas in the pod a lot :) Pixar really did a good job to keep the movie fresh and entertaining , I left myself smiling at the beginning and crying at the end . Not as in like it’s a sad movie , there’s this one point that is so touching that I can’t hold my tears anymore , thank god for the 3D glasses :D The movie will be coming out on the 17 of June , next Thursday :) Hope you guys can grab the chance to watch this awesome movie :)

Continue my Taiwan Trip post nao :) We went to the Mr.J restaurant as recommended in the travel magazine .Mr.J 義法廚房 French-Italian Restaurant . Darn geng can , they even have their very own website . We went to the one in Guangfu South Road 光复南路 in Taipei. LMAO , their website is in one of my tab now and they are playing that song , which reminds me of that movie "Secret " . Yeah , I was once a big fan of JayChou , haha @vvens will definitely love this restaurant XD

I’m very much in love with the little bar at the corner .

I think this restaurant is quite famous for it’s dessert . Look how delicate it is :) Strawberry lovers like me , you will be having a real good time here :D

Sony α-NEX Launch Event

Went to the launching event of Sony Alpha NEX5 and NEX 3 yesterday :) Darn sexay kan the NEX5 ? Not to mention NEX5 offers a 18-55mm lens . And it’s in the size of a compact camera ! How awesome is that ? It’s like a miniature size of my DSLR now XD

But before that , went to meet up this lovely girl , Angelkein , she is really good at editing pictures and we do have a lot in common , I was actually so surprised that she actually speaks mandarin ! Have a nice chatting time with her :) Topics mostly on girls , and … LAMBORGHINI XD
